Mendrisio
The Mendrisio, named after the place where Eddy Merckx won his second world title in 1971, is an extremely capable allround road bike. Back then in Mendrisio, it became a battle between Merckx and his eternal rival Felice Gimondi. Time after time Gimondi attacked, but couldn’t manage to shake off his younger rival. The race ended in a sprint, which Merckx won thanks to his explosive power.
That power is found in the Mendrisio. It’s a fast, performance focused but comfortable endurance bike. The tubes are designed to create optimal aerodynamics without compromising comfort, and the integrated, aerodynamic seat post along with the integrated monocoque handlebars make the bike look super sleek.
Our Mendrisio is made for long rides. It offers maximum comfort, even on rough roads and cobblestones. The Mendrisio is ready for long days of pedaling.
Frame design
Mendrisio’s tube shapes have been designed to strike the perfect balance between aerodynamics, lightweight and ride feel. This makes the Mendrisio a well-rounded performance road bike that is ready to tackle any spirited riding.
Integrated cable routing
The fully integrated cable routing has multiple benefits. The biggest performance benefit comes from improved aerodynamics, because there are no cables disturbing the airflow. Moreover, the cables are hidden and tucked away, so they don’t interfere with accessories like handlebar bags. Lastly, it makes for a beautiful, clean cockpit.
S-bent seat stays
