Straying away from the traditional carbon fiber molding process, Knight Composites is the only rim manufacturer to use the Expanded Polystyrene molding process. Rather than using an inflatable bladder that gets left inside the rim, resulting in ripples and folds on the inner surface, the EPS molding provides a lighter, stiffer, and cleaner inner surface free of imperfections. With a 30mm internal diameter, the Knight 29″ Enduro wheel can easily support tires up to 2.5″ wide, while the 25mm of depth keep the rims light enough to charge up the steepest climbs with ease.
