The Fenix Disc has similar riding quality and characteristics to the Fenix SLiC. The frame offers internal cable routing for a tidier look, it features the same diamond shaped down tube which provides extra stiffness and durability, and it has the same geometry.

We decided to focus on keeping the retail price down during the development of the Fenix Disc while maintaining the stiffness and ride comfort of the Elite level Fenix SLiC, using other components and a different carbon fiber technology. Due to this modified carbon lay-up, the Fenix Disc frame is only 120 grams heavier than our Fenix SLiC frame.

The Fenix line is uniquely designed for every type of road. They are true all-round bikes. The Fenix came about thanks to a collaboration with Team Lotto Soudal to create the ultimate frame for the cobbled classics. Developed with performance and comfort as key factors, the Fenix is the ultimate high-performance endurance bike.

It offers precise handling and immediately reacts to every pedal stroke, while giving you the feeling that you’re floating above the road surface. These bikes are seen everywhere – ridden by top professionals to novice cyclists. The diamond-shaped downtube is a unique characteristic of every Fenix. It increases the frame’s durability while adding a clever aesthetic detailing.

Hence, the only difference between the Noah Fast Disc and Noah Disc road bike is a mere 100 grams due to its carbon lay-up of Essential Carbon. And the difference you’ll feel while riding…none!

About the Noah Fast Disc
The Noah Fast Disc is our top-level aero model and was built from scratch with every feature rebuilt. This powerhouse has no rival in cutting through wind thanks to component integrations of the fork, handlebar, seat post clamp, thru axles and cables, next to F-Surface Plus, F-Wings and spacer profile updates. On this bike every rider is able to find his perfect position accurate to 1mm as result of our whole bike approach, where every part needs to fit together perfectly.

But there’s more. Thanks to adaptations in the fork, seat post and handlebar the bike’s total weight is about 250 grams lighter than its predecessor. Subsequently the rim version is able to stay below 7 kg on the scale, without the need of exotic lightweight components. Light as a feather, when speaking aero.
The disc model adds about 500g because of the heavier groupset, brakes & wheels. The stiffness of the bottom bracket & head tube is further increased to its predecessor. You’ll keep feeling the power you’ll put on those pedals. At the same time the lowered seat stays create vertical compliance to enhance comfort.

Equipped with disc brakes, it is ready to conquer everything in its path no matter the weather conditions or terrain. Compatible with both mechanical and electronic shifting.

The Helium Disc road bike incorporates the unique oval tube shape which perfectly balances stiffness, weight and comfort. In addition, all cables are fully integrated in the Helium thanks to the F-Steerer technology. This gives it a clean look that’s maintenance-free.

Ridley utilizes a blended layup for the Fenix SLC with a precision mix of 30T and 24T high-modulus carbon that maintains stiffness needed for race-pace accelerations and precision steering on technical descents. Yet the Fenix SLC manages enough compliance to extend comfort for the to be a daily driver. Out front, the Fenix SLC receives a fresh carbon fork. The fork uses a similar blended carbon design as found in the frame, and is straightened to provide improved frontend stiffness and more responsive steering. Ridley claims this upgrade moves the Fenix SLiC towards the riding qualities demanded by modern riders who explore deeper and further into lesser-maintained terrain.

The Fenix SLiC also supports a fully integrated cockpit should you decide to make use of the aerodynamic potential of the new design. A Forza N1 integrated handlebar and stem neatly conceal the shifting and brake housing. This integration tidies up the front end and sets a distinct tone to showcase Ridley’s intent to elevate the Fenix SLC’s aerodynamics towards the front of the peloton. A 27.2mm standard seatpost is used on the Fenix SLC. However, to further improve aerodynamics, the seat collar is covered and hidden beneath an aero-shaped cap that gracefully flows from the top tube to the seatpost.

Please note that this frame is not compatible with SRAM mechanical front derailleurs, only SRAM eTap AXS derailleurs. It works fine with Shimano mechanical front derailleurs.
