SILCA RAINBOW TITANIUM CAGE

In our quest to create the ultimate bottle cage, we found ourselves completely fascinated by the look, feel, and durability of tubular titanium construction. This combination of design characteristics produces a cage that has better retention on gravel and other harsh surfaces and has proven to be the superior design when mounted on the underside of the down tube, so common in adventure riding and touring. While classic in appearance, this material, and its manufacturing are as complex and high tech as it gets.

Cleaning and care: Oils from your hands and fingers can change the anodized color. To revive color and/or clean the cages (and straws), use rubbing alcohol and a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive products, this will damage the anodized finish.

Please note that anodized titanium is only as hard as the titanium itself, and is less hard than many types of sand or abrasives found in sand and soil, including aluminum oxide and garnet which are naturally occurring and are harder than steel. Titanium anodize continually exposed to abrasion by these sand materials will eventually scratch and begin to wear and will not be covered under warranty. Routine cleaning of the cages and cleaning of bottles is recommended to remove any embedded abrasive particles which can accelerate this wear.

The FR-C Pro Bib Short was designed on a curve to clone the body’s natural riding position eliminating puckers and creases throughout your full range of motion. We chose a 220 gram 50 thread count fabric, with soft and supportive compression, which creates a bib short so comfortable that once you put it on you’ll be inspired to put some time on the bike.

The HC50 High Compression Power Lycra has the properties and material structure of a compressive power Lycra, yet its soft and supple feel provides unmatched comfort for the perfect fit.

Equally comfortable features of the FR-C Pro bib short include; the 190 E woven elastic leg cuffs, which hold the bibs in place without squeezing or restricting, the anti-abrasion seat panel fabric, Ametista Carbon waist panel, and the stretchable, breathable, and stabilizing bib uppers.

SILCA TIRE LEVERS PREMIO

Modern carbon rims and tires create a real challenge for traditional tire levers, and the new wave of tubeless setups have take the challenge to the next level. Tire fits are tighter than they’ve ever been, while carbon rims require non-metal levers to resist damage to the bead or brake surface during use.

Previous solutions to this problem have involved using a metal core inside of a plastic lever, however this solution has its own challenges as the core of the lever is where you can add the least stiffness and strength. This leaves metal core levers both less stiff and heavier than they need to be.

Getting Started:

Tire Levers Premio were designed for safe use on carbon fiber rims if used properly and as intended. To ensure proper use on your specific set of wheels, you MUST refer to your wheel manufacturer’s guidelines on using tire levers.

In the meantime, here’s some general advice from us.

Tire Levers Premio should ONLY be used to remove the tire. Never use a tire lever to aid in tire installation. This is not the intended use case for the tool and could result in damage.
Make sure the orientation of the blade of your tire lever is correct before use. Using a tire lever that is upside down is not only more difficult to use but it could result in damage.
We don’t recommend using tire levers if you’re using latex inner tubes.
