Assioma DUO-Shi has been designed for Shimano® road users, as it offers the opportunity to keep on riding with your current Shimano® pedal bodies* without giving up on the trustability and precision of Assioma.

Installation into your own Shimano® pedal bodies
Installing Assioma DUO-Shi into your own compatible Shimano® pedal bodies* is simple and quick. Watch our video for the installation.

*Compatible Shimano® pedal bodies
Assioma DUO-Shi is compatible with the following Shimano® pedal bodies: PD-R8000, PD-R7000, PD-6800, PD-R550 and PD-R540.

**Increased Q-factor?
The Q-factor of Assioma Look® version is of +54mm, whereas that of Assioma DUO-Shi measures +64mm with the PD-R7000/R550/R540 pedal bodies and +65mm with the PD-R8000/6800.
Despite an initial concern related to the increase of the q-factor, we decided to proceed with the project considering that body size (height, pelvis width, etc.) is a subjective factor contributing to determining which is the best q-factor for each one of us.
A final, positive feedback from our beta testers has eventually validated the product.

Easy to install
Install and move your Assioma from one bike to another just like your normal pedals. You can do it easily and without extra tools or the need for a mechanic.

IAV Cycling Dynamics
Assioma provides advanced metrics called IAV Cycling Dynamics: IAV Power Phase and IAV Rider Position. These metrics, combined with the classic power data permit you to analyze in detail your pedaling technique and how your position on the bike influences performance.

IAV Power and gyroscope
Unlike others, the measurement of Assioma is not affected by errors related to very irregular pedaling (e.g. uphill sprints) or the use of oval chainrings. This is because Assioma can detect the actual instantaneous angular velocity during the whole pedal stroke, thus providing ±1% accuracy in any conditions. Not only in the lab.

Bluetooth and ANT+
Assioma communicates with bike computers and smartphones (both Android and iOS) via Bluetooth and ANT+.

Real dual-sided power data
Assioma DUO-Shi measures power individually on both legs; this makes possible to observe with accuracy not only Total Power, but also L/R Balance, Torque Effectiveness (TE), Pedal Smoothness (PS), etc.

Accuracy and consistency
Assioma guarantees accurate and consistent data in all conditions on the road, and at any temperature ranging from -10°C and 60°C, thanks also to the ATC (Automatic Temperature Compensation).

Waterproof and resistant
The power sensors are protected by a bi-component resin block, extremely resistant to shocks and completely waterproof.

Rechargeable and green
Assioma is the only pedal-based power meter for road with integrated rechargeable batteries; a single charge ensures at least 50 hours of use.

Favero Assioma UNO Power Meter Pedals

The Favero Assioma UNO Power Meter Pedals are the single-sided version of the Assioma DUO power meter with a power sensor located in the left pedal. The Assioma UNO works by doubling your left leg power in order to derive your total power. It is every bit as reliable and consistent as the DUO, and because it contains just the left pedal sensor, it is priced at only $459, making it the most affordable power meter pedal you can buy!

In addition, the UNO Power Meter Pedals have all of the features found in the DUO. You get ANT+ and Bluetooth SMART compatibility, a rechargeable battery with 50-hour life and of course Assioma’s +/- 1.0% accuracy levels. Yes, that’s right. Using Favero’s IAV Power Technology, the Assioma UNO is accurate to +/- 1.0%.

The new Assioma is also easy to install. In fact, it installs just like a normal pedal. Just grab an Allen key and screw it on. Easy as that!

Accurate with IAV Power

The Assioma uses Favero’s IAV Power Technology. IAV results in accuracy of +/- 1.0% and allows the Assioma pedals to be used with oval chainrings without any impact to the accuracy of your data!

Easy to Install & Transfer

Installing a power meter doesn’t get any easier. Grab the Allen key, screw on the pedals and you’re ready to go. This means you can also move them from bike to bike in seconds!

ANT+ & Bluetooth SMART

With both ANT+ and Bluetooth SMART, the pedals are compatible with your favorite cycling computer, GPS watch, smart phone or tablet. The choice is yours!

Rechargeable

The Favero Assioma uses a rechargeable lithium-ion battery with 50-hour battery life. When the battery gets low, simply plug them in using the included charger, and you’re good to go again.

IAV Cycling Dynamics

Favero’s integrated gyroscope also allows you to measure cycling dynamics data such as IAV Power Phase and IAV Rider Position. With these advanced metrics, you can become a faster, stronger rider!

Favero IAV Power Technology

The Favero Assioma UNO uses Favero’s IAV (Instantaneous Angular Velocity) Power. Using special software and an integrated three-axis gyroscope, IAV takes into account the precise pedaling speed within each pedal stroke. This results in the Favero Assioma UNO having accuracy of +/- 1.0%. In addition, IAV allows you to use the Assioma pedals with oval chainrings without any impact to the accuracy of your data!

Favero IAV Cycling Dynamics

Favero’s gyroscope also allows you to measure cycling dynamics data. IAV Power Phase displays the portion of your pedaling stroke in which torque is produced. In addition, your Power Phase Peak, in which maximum torque is produced, is also indicated. IAV Rider Position displays the portion of time you are in a seated vs. standing position. This allows you to analyze how a specific position can influence your performance. IAV Cycling Dynamics is compatible with the Garmin Edge 1030, 830, 820, 530 and 520 Plus.

Updated Spring Tension

Favero recently changed the spring in order to have a wider release torque tension and these pedals come with the new spring pre-installed. The new spring’s release torque tension has been lowered from 11Nm to 8Nm. Therefore, the pedals are now easier to clip in and out of.

Cleats

The Favero Assioma UNO comes supplied with red, 6-degree float cleats. You also have the option to purchase black, 0-degree (fixed) float cleats. If you have LOOK Kèo cleats, they will also be compatible with the pedals.

Favero Assioma UNO Upgrade Pedal

If you’re looking to convert your Assioma UNO into a dual-sided power meter, the Assioma UNO Upgrade Pedal is for you. This upgrade pedal allows you to quickly and easily convert your current single-sided power meter into a complete, dual-sided system. Once you receive your UNO upgrade pedal, simply use the Favero Assioma app to associate (or pair) your new right pedal to your current left pedal. You will then have a complete, dual-sided power meter system – just like the Assioma DUO!
