]]> Borrowing design inspiration and technology from our M29 downhill bike, utilizing its bottom link driven rear shock and suspension design, we have created a bike with plush travel for the roughest of descents, and a firm pedal platform when needed. We’ve positioned the rear shock low down and centered in the frame, allowing the Tracer to descend and handle terrain impeccably.

CHAD STORAGE SYSTEM

The Chad Storage system is an on-bike storage solution that is being introduced on the Tracer. This system is not one individual part but a concept for storage solutions that will continue to evolve.

FLIP CHIP ADJUSTMENT

The Tracer 29 has a ‘Flip Chip’ feature which allows you to alter your bike’s geometry between two positions. The High setting is best in technical terrain, while the Low is more suitable for flow and bike park style riding.

THE JS TUNED ENDURO LINK

We talk about JS Suspension a lot here at INTENSE. JS stands for Jeff Steber (our founder and CEO); simply put, it is a sophisticated suspension system that uses two counter-rotating links to connect the front and rear triangles of the bike. The links are precisely placed to separate the pedaling and braking forces from the suspension performance. Every model in our range has its own personal and specific JS tune.

]]> This MTB features an extremely ingenious carbon lay-up which is key in achieving such amazing riding characteristics that you’ll feel from the first pedal stroke. At the front end of the bike we use Toray Carbon with high tensile strength. At the rear, we opted for a different carbon lay-up to maximize vertical flex. The increased steering angle (trail) provides an extra stable riding feel. Our R&D also gave the seat stays an asymmetrical, oval shape to maximize stiffness. We don’t let a single Watt go to waste!

The result is an Ignite SLX MTB that’s light, stiff and agile. Take those flowing singletracks and steep slopes faster than anyone else…for the win!

Ignite is our very lightweight 29er hardtail designed for XC competition. If you’re looking to improve your speed and handling skills, the Ignite is your answer. Excellent power transfer due to its built-in stiffness. Its tapered head tube increases front end stiffness for optimal steering and control. Thru-axles add to its stiffness, as does its integrated postmount disc brakes.

To build in comfort, we’ve worked meticulously on our tubing design as well as our materials layup to create the ultimate hardtail that cruises at high speeds over the most arduous terrain. Internal cable routing keeps the cables clean, while giving the bike that tidy look.

For the Sniper XC our engineering team put the focus on optimized pedaling performance, tweaking the shock tune to suit typical XC riding terrain. The suspension for the Sniper was designed for supple sensitivity on small bumps, mid-support for hard pedaling efficiency in and out of the saddle, and a good progression to the end of the stroke.

]]> Borrowing design inspiration and technology from our M29 downhill bike, utilizing its bottom link driven rear shock and suspension design, we have created a bike with plush travel for the roughest of descents, and a firm pedal platform when needed. We’ve positioned the rear shock low down and centered in the frame, allowing the Tracer to descend and handle terrain impeccably.

FLIP CHIP ADJUSTMENT

The Tracer 29 has a ‘Flip Chip’ feature which allows you to alter the geometry of your bike between two positions. The High setting is best in technical terrain while the Low is more suitable for flow and bike park.
