To further boost the capability of the bike, a suspension fork can be fitted to the Strasbourg C without negatively effecting the handling.

Mendrisio’s tube shapes have been designed to strike the perfect balance between aerodynamics, lightweight and ride feel. This makes the Mendrisio a well-rounded performance road bike that is ready to tackle any spirited riding.

Integrated cable routing

The fully integrated cable routing has multiple benefits. The biggest performance benefit comes from improved aerodynamics, because there are no cables disturbing the airflow. Moreover, the cables are hidden and tucked away, so they don’t interfere with accessories like handlebar bags. Lastly, it makes for a beautiful, clean cockpit.

S-bent seat stays

With the frame design of the Pévèle C we set out to create the ultimate allroad bike. We wanted to make a bike that is equally at home on paved road as on dirt roads. With the Pévèle C you can do both. The tire clearance goes up to a 42mm tire. Cleverly positioned mounting point allow you to carry everything you need while riding. The integrated dynamo cable routing lets you mount a lighting system without any exposed cables. The front derailleur clamp can be removed when you want to ride with a single ring, such as the Classified Powershift system.

The amount of victories Eddy achieved during his career. It’s an insane amount of race wins, the highest in the world. That’s where we want to place our new 525. Do you know what the problem with such an insane number is? No-one can grasp how huge it actually is. Perhaps we can try to compare it with more current riders. Eddy won 525 road races as a professional cyclist. To beat that you would need to combine Andre Greipel, Mark Cavendish, Peter Sagan and Greg Van Avermaet’s triumphs.

To beat his Grand Tour streak (11 GC victories), Vincenzo Nibali, Chris Froome and Nairo Quintana would have to be combined into 1 person. Do you want to find a Classics rider as good as Eddy Merckx? Well, then you would have to combine Tom Boonen, Fabian Cancellara and Philippe Gilbert.

Take a look at all these names of modern greatness. Each rider in the paragraphs above made a mark on modern cycling. Eddy Merckx did all of that by himself, that’s how good he was. There used to be a word for this kind of performance: divine. In Belgium they changed it into ‘Merckxian’.

Our 525 will be at the summum of balancing weight, aerodynamics and comfort. It will be the preferred partner of Oliver Naesen when racing cobbles or battling the wind during the hardest Classics. Romain Bardet will use it to tackle the hardest racing days during his Grand Tours and Classics.

Finding balance is the hardest thing to do, but when you succeed it’s just perfect.
